Lives and works in New York.
Andrés Ciccone is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice navigates the tensions between displacement, memory, and abstraction. Drawing from a personal history marked by migration, cultural hybridity and transformation, his work explores how space, identity, and belonging can be reshaped through form.
Ciccone’s compositions combine architectural structures, geometric systems, and poetic gestures. His visual language is grounded in a rigorous exploration of rhythm, materiality and fragmentation. Deeply influenced by the constructivist legacy of Latin America, as well as East Asian philosophies and contemporary abstraction, he seeks to create works that do not represent the world but exist as autonomous entities within it.
Avoiding fixed narratives, his paintings, drawings and installations evoke motion, rupture, and reconciliation. They emerge from an intimate process of layering, erasing, and rebuilding—reflecting a body in transit, a mind negotiating the distances between origin and presence.

Andrés Ciccone
